Our Student Fundraising Campaign

How you and your friends can get involved

Underpass Online Festival will be taking place on Saturday the 30th of May. It’s going to feature a range of bands and singers from across the city, and from across the country.

The aim is for the Music Festival to be a fundraising event in itself, but before we get to that date, we want everybody as part of our student community to get involved.

That’s why we’re calling on you to get involved with the two fundraising initiatives we’re running in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic and ahead of Underpass Online Festival.

These two initiatives are going to be launched Wednesday the 20th of May, and will finish on Saturday the 30th May (the day of the festival) at lunchtime, ahead of the music. We’re calling for every Society, Sports Team, Committee and Group to get involved, so read below, sign your group up and tell all your members about it!

1. Run-derpass

It’s easy to get involved with “Run-derpass”. All you’ve got to do is run 5km during the last week of May, donate £5 to this page once you’ve completed your run and tag 5 friends in an Instagram photo showcasing your run with the caption #Runderpass.

We’re asking you to get your teams, clubs and socities involved with this, and also your family and friends from home. The more, the merrier!

P.S, if you tag Sheffield SU, we will post it on our Instagram story!

2. Fun-derpass

Is “Run-derpass” not for you? That’s where “Fun-derpass” comes in!

We understand not everybody will be able to, or will want to take part in “Run-derpass”, so we’re asking the rest of you to bake a cake during the last week of May, donate £5 to this page once you’ve baked your cake and tag 5 friends in an instagram photo showcasing your cake with the caption #Funderpass.

We’re asking you to get your teams, clubs and socities involved with this, and also your family and friends from home. The more, the merrier!

P.S, if you tag Sheffield SU, we will post it on our Instagram story!

It’s our turn as a community to support the fight against COVID-19 – and to get involved!
